Club Infinity Buffalo, NY

Last night was awesome. Another great night for music in Buffalo, NY. We went and saw RAQ perform at Club Infinity and were treated to two killer sets. It’s amazing how much better live music is as compared to just listening to over the radio or downloading a few songs. I was blown away at their ability to include heavy guitar riffs with improvisational jams.

I was able to video tape most of the fist set but I forgot my 2nd battery and wasn’t able to get any of the 2nd set which is a shame because the 2nd second was amazing.

I spoke with lead guitarist/vocalist Chris Michetti after the show and he said the band will soon be releasing a live album of their performance earlier this year at the famed Mr. Smalls theater in Pittsburgh, PA.

Here’s a few pics from the show. I took these with my iPhone so the quality isn’t the best.

Led Zeppelin To Jam Live 11.26.07

zeppelinll1209_468×331.jpg

Led Zeppelin is back and will be performing a one time concert at the 02 Arena in London, England. This will be their first concert in 26 years. The band broke up in 1980 following their drummer John Bonham’s death during a drinking binge.

To get tickets you have to register at www.ahmettribute.com and hope your name is one selected for one of the 26,000 available seats. Already some 20 million fans have registered for tickets so while your chances are slim look at the bright side….your chances are as good as anyone else.

For full concert details check out the O2 Area website.

Bustle In Your Hedgerow | MP3’s SBD 08.18.07

dsc_1658-1.jpg

This is an excellent soundboard recording of Bustle In Your Hedgerow at Camp Bisco. Bustle is a four man band featuring the The Benevento-Russo Duo
Dave Dreiwitz (of Ween on Bass) and Scott Metzger (RANA on guitar.) For this performance the band had Jamie Shields (The New Deal) on drums as Marco wasn’t able to make it.

These guys play some of the best Led Zeppelin I’ve ever heard. If you dig Zeppelin this is a must have for your collection.
