Citizen Cope @ Iron Horse Music Hall 09.20.2005 AUD
Here’s an excellent audience recording of Citizen Cope performing back in 2005. It’s an older show but it’s the best quality recording I could find on The Archive. If you’re not familiar with these guys check them out. They really get down!

Mountain Jam 2008 Lineup
Mountain Jam returns to upstate NY for the 4th annual jam fest featuring 2 nights of Gov’t Mule performances by Bob Weir & Ratdog, Umphrey’s McGee, Pete Francis, Spearhead, MSMW, and many others. The festival is May 30th to June 1rst at Hunter Mountain Ski Resort in the Catskill Mountains.
Last year I went to Mountain Jam and besides camping in torrential downpours for 3 straight days it was a truly incredible festival experience.

Umphrey’s McGee Summer Tour with ST9
Just in from the Umphrey’s newsletter.
“We are happy to announce that we will be joining forces with STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector Nine) for a co-headlining tour this summer through the eastern half of the US.
Each band will play equal extended sets and switch up closing and opening duties depending on the city they are in.
Starting in Madison, Wisconsin, the tour will make its way through the mid-west, including a FREE SHOW under The Arch in St. Louis, our return to the White River State Park in Indianapolis, Charter One Pavilion in Chicago, and two nights in Ohio. We will make our way east to New York City, Philadelphia, and Boston. And finally heads south through the Carolinas, ending with two nights in Atlanta.
We’ll be announcing some special late night parties (including an Umphrey’s late night show at the TLA in Philadelphia after our Festival Pier Penn’s Landing show on July 25th and another Umphrey’s late night show at the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh after the July 31st Koko Booth show) as well as travel plans through ConsiderItDan, and much more.
This summer party is going to be epic, so hop aboard!”
This is very similar to what they did last year with the Disco Biscuits when they co-headlined their summer tour last year. I’m looking forward to seeing Umphrey’s next week at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo.

Jam Cruise Jam Room | 01.06.2008 SBD
From what I’ve been reading the Jam Room is the place to be if you ever get a chance to jam cruise. Apparently most all of the artist playing at Jam Cruise this year contributed to this excellent improv set. Steve Kimock stole the night while being the first in the jam room and the last man standing at the end of the night at 7am.
