Up and coming ska sensation Juxtaposse put on a great show this past Saturday at the annual AMP Party at the Essex Arts Center. Juxtaposse is a reggae/ska band that recently returned from a slammin east coast tour.

The band consist of Brad (bass guitar/stand up bass), Cory (vocals/guitar), Grant (keys/vocals) , Zach (saxaphone) and Luke on drums.

Last year they were voted “Best New Original Band” by the Buffalo Music Awards. The bands up tempo rock had heads bopping and people dancing at the famed Essex Arts Center on the West Side of Buffalo.

They played several songs off their self titled debut CD that was released last year. Check out the samples listed below. The highlight of the show was the last song when the bass player Brad swapped out his guitar for the over sized stand up bass which sounded awesome.

This party also featured headlining act Great Train Robbery, several other bands, belly dancers, fire throwers, and performances by the Gahu Drum Ensemble. Be sure to check back later in the week for media from the other performances.
