Phil Lesh & Friends @ Shea’s Performing Arts MP3’s & PICS 10.18.07

Last week I claimed that Gov’t Mule was the show currently on tour and after last night mind blowing experiencing at Shea’s in Buffalo, I stand corrected this lineup of Phil Lesh & Friends has their sound dialed. I saw Phil & Friends at Mountain Jam this year and while that was a great show I didn’t think that Phil sounded all that great. Last night Phil made a believer out of me. I’ll be sure to check out any show of his anytime I have the chance.

The crowd at Shea’s was great. Security was fairly lax and let people stand in the aisle. During the 2nd set the place was jam packed. As soon as you walked into the theater area there was the smell of reifer everywhere. I know that dead heads have a reputation of smoking insane amounts of herb - but this is not a stereotype it’s the flat out truth. I’ve never been to a concert where so many people were smoking.
