This was my second time seeing moe. and they blew me away. Art Park in Lewiston is by far my favorite venue for live shows in WNY.
moe. knows how to headline a show playing for a total of over 3 hours. This set includes a sick 27 minute Brent Black as well as a mind blowing Plane Crash at the end of the second set.
Get out and see these guys while you can. They are currently on tour and will be taking the winter off after moe. down here in a few weeks.
Many thanks to the Daniel at Upstate Tapers for getting this show up.
Artpark in Lewiston, NY features the best venue in WNY for free concerts. Its located in the gorge of the Niagara River just below Niagara Falls. The best part about these Tuesday and Wednesday concerts is they are FREE!
I’m looking forward to seeing jam greats Gov’t Mule, moe., Dickey Betts & The Great Southern, and Donna The Buffalo. I’m sure the Canadian masses will flock across the border to see Sam Roberts light it up on July 30th. For the full schedule make the jump >> Read the rest of this entry »
moe. returns to Turin, NY for it’s 9th year. The initial lineup looks pretty good. You know moe. is going to play multiple sets each day and I’m looking forward to seeing the Sparrow Quartet and The Brew playing for before big crowds.

This set exemplifies why moe. is one of the best jam bands currently on the scene. If you have yet to get on board with this consensus this is the show that will win you over. Many thanks to moe., taper Alex Preston, and the Live Music Archive for bringing us this mind melting soundboard matrix.
moe. broke it down at the All Good Festival on Saturday, it’s third show in 3 days following shows in Buffalo and Utica, NY. Check out these jams from iclips.net who streamed the festival live all weekend.

Thursday In The Square in Buffalo continued its best ever jam band lineup last night with “An Evening With moe.” moe. came on at 5:30 to delight of thousands of fans for a homecoming show. This Buffalo based band was glad to be home in the city were they started in 1990. 17 years later they have established them selves as one the touring jam bands bands on the scene.
Both sets were awesome and you could see moe. feeding off the energy of the crowd and truly glad to be playing on the home turf. There was a short downpour during Nebreska and the whole crowd went crazy. If you haven’t been to a show at Thursday In The Square you should defiantly check it out there’s a few more good shows coming up such as Keller Williams, John Butler Trio, Yonder Mountain String Band, and the North Mississipi All-stars.
Thanks to Team Pittsburgh recorder Gil Galdieri for uploading a great audience recording. You can grab the show here in FLAC or MP3 format moe. Live at Lafayette Square on 2007-07-12.
I’m going to be brief with the moe. Monday session as I’ve been swamped and I’m gearing up for the free show in Buffalo on Thursday. moe. will be playing for roughly three hours starting at 5pm this Thursday July 12th. Be sure to check back next week for show download information, review, and pics.
moe. did play a show in honor of my birthday yesterday July 8th in Hampton Beach Casino in New Hampshire. To download the show head on over to the The Archive.
moe. has released it’s 5th installment of their live shows titled “Wart & All.” These live performances capture the raw energy of the band without any of the refinements and polishing of a studio album. This recording of the three time Jammy winner feautures a 2nd time played “She” as well as band favorites “Spine of a Dog,” “Plane Crash,” and “Captain America.”
