Widespread Panic announced that they will act as the finale to this year’s Bonnaroo Festival, headlining a performance on Sunday evening, June 15th. I’m glad to see Widespread Panic being added to this festival. With the previous announcements of Metallica & Perl Jam Bonnaroo has completely lost it’s title as “best jam band festival.” Its good to see that Clear Channel hasn’t completely alienated the core fans that created this festival. Widespread Panic has just wrapped up it’s summer tour and has wasted no time in announcing their fall tour starting September 21rst in Memphis, TN. They will then be touring on the west coast and returning to the southeast at the end of October finishing up in Birmingham, AL on November 10th.
