Mountain Jam 2008 Torrents & MP3’s

dsc00309a.jpgMountain Jam 2008 was another amazing weekend for the jam scene with mind blowing performances by the country’s best bands.

I wasn’t able to make it this year but we still enjoyed the festival from home. We had a party in the back yard with a fire going and and thanks to iclips.net we had sweet sounds of Umphrey’s and Gov’t Mule blasting through my stereo. Mountain Jam IV 2008 | iClips Stream & Sirius Play 5/30 to 6/1

Mountain Jam IV returns to Hunter Mountain Ski Resort with one of the best lineups of the 2008 festival season. Gov’t Mule whose Warren Haynes is jam scenes most polarizing figure will be playing 2 sets on both Friday and Saturday night followed up by Bob Weir & Friends on Sunday night.

iClips.net will be streaming live video and audio all weekend starting Friday May 29th at noon. If you can’t make it to the show or are catching a session in your chalet at Hunter Mountain tune that PC to the net for all the jam band goodness.

For those of us with Sirius they will be re-broadcasting Umphrey’s McGee and Gov’t Mule this weekend on Jam On 17.

Mountain Jam 2008 Lineup

Mountain Jam returns to upstate NY for the 4th annual jam fest featuring 2 nights of Gov’t Mule performances by Bob Weir & Ratdog, Umphrey’s McGee, Pete Francis, Spearhead, MSMW, and many others. The festival is May 30th to June 1rst at Hunter Mountain Ski Resort in the Catskill Mountains.

Last year I went to Mountain Jam and besides camping in torrential downpours for 3 straight days it was a truly incredible festival experience.
