The Dead Spring Tour ‘09: Truckin To Buffalo

The surviving members of The Grateful Dead will be performing a series of shows this spring starting with an April 12th show in Greensborough, NC.

From the Official Grateful Dead website.

The lineup for this edition of The Dead will be the same one that rocked the house at Penn State last fall at the Obama benefit: The Core Four of Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, joined by guitar monster Warren Haynes and RatDog keyboard ace Jeff Chimenti (both veterans of the 2004 Dead “Wave That Flag” tour). The mood of the band for this Spring Fling is way up, so it’s sure to be a great tour!

Ticket presale starts January 13th, with regular sales on January 30th.

The tour includes several shows in the northeast, a stop in my hometown of Buffalo, NY, shows in Chicago, Denver, LA, and the famed Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA.
