It also featured several super jam lineups with members from many different bands collaborating together for some sick sick jams.
Here’s the winners from last nights show:

I was glad to see Umphrey’s win for Live Album. How could they not give it to these guys? There isn’t any band out there that can compete with the live performances these guys put on. If you haven’t had a chance to see UM do your self and favor and make it happen!

Glide Magazine has a great interview with guitar legend in the making Jackie Greene. For those of you who saw Phil Lesh & Friends last year or this year you’ll probably agree with this assessment.
He’s just released his 4th studio album titled Giving Up The Ghost.

Two of my favorite bands Umphrey’s McGee and Gov’t Mule will be performing for free! Green Apple is an Earth Day celebration that takes place in 8 different cities.
Here is the lineup for the D.C. show that starts at Noon on 420 day and is free to the public at the National Mall.
iClips Network is taking festival streaming to the next level with a killer lineup starting at noon eastern today Friday March 7th. I’m looking most forward to seeing the live streams of Umphrey’s McGee, Mickey Hart, and Gov’t Mule. So while the festival heads are sludging through the bug infested of swamps of south Florida (sure I’m trying to make myself feel better about not being there) we can enjoy the festival from the comfort of our living rooms. This quartet hails from Massachusetts North Shore. From the bands website “The Brew appeals to rock, funk, jam, jazz, reggae, and pop enthusiasts alike, and it has been said that their music summons the spirits of artists such as Peter Gabriel, YES, The Police, and contemporaries like Percy Hill. After cutting their first studio album in 2003, The Brew have since release two more, including their 2006 release, The Key, as well as a DVD documenting their performance at The Harvest Fest in Maine.”

I had the pleasure of seeing these guys jam in Buffalo a couple of years ago. They were good that night all though there were only a handful of us in the crowd. Since then Jim Weider’s ProJECT PERCoLAToR has been on fire playing before big crowds in clubs across America. This year will see them playing big festivals like Waren Hayne’s Mountain Jam in Hunter Mountain, NY.
